Sid Cox appoints his executive leadership team to deliver RECCo’s newly formed operating model.

“In an exciting step forward for RECCo, Jon Dixon, Elizabeth Lawlor, Brian O’Shea and Rachael Anderson have been appointed to the RECCo Executive Team. All four have contributed significantly to the progress we have made over the last two years and together bring a wealth of industry experience and a shared passion for driving change in the industry. I look forward to working alongside them to achieve RECCo’s objectives”.

The REC represents a progressive and important step-change for the industry.  We intend to elevate customer outcomes through promoting innovation and competition. Our operating model is designed to create a new standard for code governance, transforming the nature of decision-making in the energy sector.

It will put consumer outcomes at the heart of the arrangements, provide an accessible set of rules in plain English and digital format, and introduce new robust technical and performance assurance frameworks for industry players.

To achieve this, we need the right regulatory expertise, commercial acumen, financial discipline, and operational competency on board. Our Executives are directly responsible for running business operations holding all REC Service Providers (17 out-sourced services at go-live) to account.

We collectively share responsibility for meeting the company’s strategic objectives. Bringing our capabilities together will enable us to strengthen our organisation and build superior services for our employees and stakeholders.
