RECCo on the Road: Come and share your views

It was great meeting so many of our stakeholders last year to gather feedback on the services we provide to the energy sector. We’re hitting the road again this year and want to connect with even more of you! Our team will be visiting Manchester, Birmingham and London to update you on the work we have been doing over the past year and our future plans.

These events will provide a unique opportunity for us to engage face-to-face. This year, we’ll focus on how your feedback has directly influenced our key strategic priority: Delivering Service Excellence.

What to expect

One of the key highlights will be a detailed update on how your input has shaped the REC Services we offer. We’ll share the improvements we’ve implemented and discuss our upcoming priorities.

The day will be split into sessions:

  • Morning session: We’ll start with a ‘you said, we did’ presentation covering our core REC Services, including the Code Manager and Enquiry Services. We have embarked on a journey of continuous improvement and want to make sure the changes we’ve made—and plan to make—are meeting your expectations. Following the presentation, we’ll hold a workshop to hear your views on the service changes and whether our future plans are aligned with your needs.
  • Afternoon session: We’ll discuss our future Operational projects, including Code Reform and the Code Manager Evolution, including the re-procurement of digital services. As part of the Code Manager Evolution, we’re reviewing the services we provide to ensure they meet your needs and are structured effectively. Your feedback will be essential in shaping the future of these services.

After the Afternoon presentations, we’ll host another workshop to hear your views on Ofgem’s Code Reform and how it will impact your role in the industry should RECCo become the licensed Code Manager.  We’ll also provide an update on the Central Registration Service Transfer project.

Join us for networking!

Following the workshop, we encourage you to attend a networking session where you can connect with colleagues and industry peers.

We will share key discussion points and outputs with all stakeholders after the sessions, including those who couldn’t join.
