Our Executives are directly responsible for running the business operations. They collectively share responsibility to meet the company’s strategic objectives.

Sid Cox

Chief Executive Officer

Appointed: March 2021

Skills and experience: Sid has extensive commercial, financial and change management experience from his 30 year career in energy with Shell, Enron, EDF Energy and now RECCo. At EDF Energy, he was a director of EDF Energy Customers plc where he led the commercial customers’ side of the business.  

Role at RECCo: Leading and developing the Executive team to meet the company’s strategic objectives. 

Jon Dixon

Director of Development and Strategy

Appointed: September 2020

Skills and experience: Jon has over 20 years’ experience of energy policy and regulation though a number of roles at Ofgem, including several years as Head of Industry Codes and Licensing.   

Role at RECCo: Jon works as our Director of Development and Strategy  and is responsible for managing  our strategy, policy and regulatory compliance.

Elizabeth Lawlor

Director of Operations

Appointed: June 2019 

Skills and experience: Elizabeth is an independent energy regulation expert with 20 years’ experience in the development, implementation, mobilisation and operation of multi-party governance frameworks and industry codes. 

Role at RECCo: Elizabeth works as our Director of Operations and is responsible for managing the provision of service to REC parties and other stakeholders through third party service providers. 

Brian O'Shea

Director of Finance and Commercials

Appointed: June 2019 

Skills and experience: Brian is a strategic and tactical thinker with extensive experience of developing and delivering strategic and cultural change. As a strong commercial negotiator, Brian is always customer and profit focussed and committed to delivering service excellence and maximum results. 

Role at RECCo: Brian is our Director of Finance and Commercials and is responsible for all of RECCo’s corporate governance, commercial and financial matters.

Rachael Anderson

Director of Corporate Affairs

Appointed: August 2021

Skills and experience: Rachael has worked within industry code governance for over 10 years. Before joining RECCo, Rachael worked for a medium supplier responsible for overseeing industry codes and market reform programmes and was on the RECCo Board as a representative for small and medium suppliers.

Role at RECCo: Rachael works as our Director of Corporate Affairs and is responsible for all stakeholder, employee and organisation matters. 

Pete Davies

Director of Data, Technology and Transformation

Appointed: July 2022 

Skills and experience:

Pete is a digital leader with a passion for energy. With over 14 years’ experience across retail, energy trading and power generation, Pete has delivered change through digital platforms and programmes internationally for stakeholders.

Role at RECCo: 

Pete joins us as our new Director of Data, Technology and Transformation with responsibility for overseeing the delivery of our programmes, delivery of our data and digitalisation strategy and organisational IT matters.
