We invite you to join one of our upcoming workshops in Glasgow, Birmingham, or London, where you can help shape the future of two of the REC Services – the Code Manager and Energy Enquiry Services. This is a great opportunity for you to gain insight into these services, share your feedback on their current functionality, and contribute ideas to improve them to meet the evolving needs of your business and the industry. To sign up, please use the links provided below. We look forward to seeing you there!
What services will be discussed at the event?
We are responsible for procuring, managing and delivering the REC Services, which are central to the efficient and effective operation of the retail energy market. The REC Services include the Code Manager, Central Switching Service, Metering Auditor Scheme, Green Deal Central Charging, Data Services, Theft Reduction Services and Gas and Electricity Enquiry Services.
The primary emphasis of these workshops will be the Code Manager Service and Gas and Electricity Enquiry Services. The workshops aim to get your views as stakeholders to help us shape the strategy for evolving these services.
Why should I join?
We appreciate your feedback and input as a Code Manager or Enquiry Services user. Your suggestions can help us enhance and improve your experience of these services to better meet your needs in an evolving energy market.
We will look to better understand your experience with the current services. This includes how and when you access the services, how they support your business needs, and feedback on what works well. We will then focus on future requirements to identify any areas for improvement, taking account of strategic industry change and RECCo’s forward work plan and digitalisation strategy. Your input is crucial in shaping the scope and capability of our services as well as the timing of future procurement activities and change. We are excited to offer an in-person opportunity to explain more about the role of RECCo and the evolution of the REC Services. We want to gather as much feedback as possible from a wide range of stakeholders to best inform our future delivery.
