Welcome to Issue 13 of ‘Inside RECCo’. In this newsletter, we update you on RECCo team’s progress and key activities over the past month including our ‘on track’ status for the upcoming switching programme implementation.
RECCo has been working to develop the supporting governance arrangements, technical solutions and end-to-end business processes to administer the Market Stabilisation Charge, under the REC. We are pleased to announce that the Authority approved R0035 for implementation on 30th June 2022.

We hosted a Metering CoP Consolidation introductory virtual session where we gave an overview of the project, the delivery timescales, and how the new metering arrangements are structured in order to maximise the review period.
RECCo attended the 2022 conference of the UK Revenue Protection Association to provide an update on the Theft Reduction Strategy.
RECCo is seeking consultant support for a 10 month project in assessing and delivering the required changes to the Retail Energy Code and REC Service Providers as a result of Market-wide Half-Hourly Settlement.
RECCo have issued a consultation on DCC Service Provider Performance Charges. The closing date for responses is 5pm, 16th May 2022.
RECCo and the REC Code Manager invite you to a walkthrough of the proposed Market Stabilisation Charge (MSC) arrangements on 22 April 2022.
In our commitment to continually improve the Code Manager service, RECCo recently published the first of a series of stakeholder ‘pulse’ surveys to understand initial experiences following the go-live of the new service in September 2021.
